I've never danced before, will I be OK in the Absolute Beginners Classes?
Our Absolute Beginners Classes are designed for people who've never danced before and are therefore ideal. We take you through the basics of a number of different dances before developing your technique.
I'd like to come to your Absolute Beginners Class but don't have a partner. What should I do?
If you're planning on coming to one of our complete beginners classes and can't talk any friends in joining you then come along on your own. We'll do our best to partner you up but as we get a large number of single ladies some may have to dance together.
Do I need to book in advance?
For all our classes there's no need to book, you can just turn up on the night and pay on the door. For private lessons you will need to book in advance and have both a time and venue confirmed in advance.
We've danced before, which class should we come to?
The best thing to do is give us a call and we can have a chat about which class is the most suitable for you.
I've danced before but don't have a partner. What should I do?
In our established classes, most people tend to come with a partner and want to learn together so we don't rotate partners. We often get enquiries for people looking for a partner though. Why not email us, we may have someone looking for a partner just like you!
What should I wear?
Wear whatever you like, as long as you feel comfortable. Layers are advisable as it may get quite warm in the class
What should I wear on my feet?
Anything you like but avoid trainers or any shoes with a rubber sole. Ladies, avoid shoes that you can step out of , i.e. shoes with no back and definitely no flip flops.
I've missed the first few weeks, can I still start?
Of course you can but you may have some catching up to do!
I work shifts and can't come every week. Will I be able to keep up?
Probably, but if you can't then do what a lot of our couples do and book in for an occasional top up private lesson.
Are you Qualified?
Yes we are. In fact, our combination of practical and theoretical knowledge means we're the most qualified teachers in South Cheshire. Mark holds the highest qualifications with the UKA and is also an examiner.
I have a medical condition. Can I come to your classes?
Whatever your medical condition, please consult your doctor before attending our classes for the first time.
